About Us

Viewpoint Diving Cornwall is a PADI dive school and club that offers training, escorted dives and above all a good fun experience. It is our goal that visiting divers come back to see us again and again.

We have a large stock of training equipment and sizes to suit most people, all of our equipment is regularly served and maintained according to manufacturer’s guidelines.

We have a well-stocked dive shop supported by a number of manufacturers including Bare, Atomic and Cressi.

Our instructing staff have decades of teaching and diving experience and are passionate about SCUBA diving, high-quality training, the Cornish waters and, above all, offering a fantastic experience to our customers. Here are some comments that our customers have posted on Facebook:

SH: Our kids did their first PADI course with you on the 31st July 2016, booked for Williams 14th birthday his 11year old sister Lucy and my daughter Charlotte, They had a wonderful day with Mike and Colin, and Alex, learning so much. As nervous parents you put us at our ease and Lucy after her time in the pool, was given enough confidence to go for the sea dive which she was “definitely not go to do” ! ( Thanks guys for accomodating Lucy’s change of mind, nothing was too much trouble) By the time they did their sea dive at Port Mellon they were so excited, Im surprised they managed to stay quiet for the 40minutes while diving. LC: I completely agree with SH’s review! A fantastic day was had by all 3 children! The dive was a wonderful Birthday Surprise for my son William and the girls thoroughly enjoyed it too! I’m amazed Lucy was given the confidence by the dive team to actually do the sea dive ! So much effort and enthusiasm was put into the day by all the dive instructors to make it an amazing experience!! We will definitely be back again and I might even have a go myself !!!

TJ: Having undertaken try dives locally, our daughter Holly was keen to try diving in the sea. I signed her up for a PADI Discover SCUBA Diving (Pool and Sea) course, and Viewpoint Diving were excellent. Notwithstanding Holly’s previous experience, they took Holly back to basics and went through everything with her before even heading to the pool. She was then put through her paces in the pool before going on to finally experience diving in the sea in the afternoon. Mike went in the water with her and Dave observed. Whilst they prioritised her safety, they also made sure she thoroughly enjoyed her experience and Holly is keen to return next year to get her qualification. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending these guys to anyone wanting to experience scuba diving.
